I have been involved in art in some form all of my life. My Mother was a ceramicist plus, she drew very well and was involved in other creative endeavors. My Father was an author.

Art classes in school were always a favorite of mine then I studied business in college and became a college teacher. While raising three boys, my art was on the back burner but, after my children were grown and I retired, I began to pursue art on a full time basis.  I guess my style would best be described as a mixed-up, mixed media. I love to push the envelop using different types of art materials to create new techniques. My current work is influenced by African and Native American art and creating art pieces makes me truly happy.  But when I sell a piece, I’m allowed to share my happiness with others.
