"The richness & purity of color
achieved with the use of glass to create art is unmatched in any
other
medium I have encountered.”
In the process of experiencing an
assortment of hand forged arts, Kathleen discovered a kindred
connection to fire and glass. Her explorations of glass began with
fusing & slumping glass in a kiln & later added lamp (torch) work
resulting in the sculpting of unique glass jewelry. Today she
concentrates more on creating original wall & window glass pieces
that are decorative and often functional pieces. They span a range
from casual to refined elegance and she strives to reflect her heart
in each piece.
Larger kiln space is enabling
Kathleen to expand into the realm of multidimensional custom fused
glass panels for larger door, window & transom spaces as well as
custom bathroom
accents with single pieces as large as 6’ x 4’. Art
glass can be useful to add a touch of privacy in a window and/or add
color to your home's windows & walls. Talk to us about commissioning
Kathleen to add special glass effects to blend with your style and
color preferences.
